We thank you for taking the time to read our story and consider us as the perfect family for your child. We are so grateful for you and hope that you are surrounded by love, compassion and grace now and for years to come. We first met when I (Kenzie) was 6 years old and Collin, now my husband was 9 years old. My brother and Collin were friends in grade school. Fast forward 10 years and we reconnected through Collin’s sister working at my high school. We were planning to attend the same college. So, we met for coffee, which became a 2-hour conversation leading to a second date. Collin and I have been together for 11 years now and counting. We got married in 2014 with all our family and friends dancing the night away.

Collin and I are both close with our families and see them often. With 6 nieces and nephews my side and 5 on my husband’s side, let’s just say family get togethers are never dull and always exciting with all of the aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins running around. We are a very busy couple traveling often all over the world. Travelling allows us to immerse ourselves in different cultures which we find very fascinating and gratifying. That is just one of our favorite hobbies that we love doing together. We also love to travel and camp in our airstream trailer, there’s just something special about sitting by a campfire outside with nature. We also love spending lots of time together; I’ve always said I wanted to marry my best friend and that is exactly what I did.

About Collin (in Kenzie’s words)

I have never met a person who does not like Collin; his smile is infectious. Collin is the most lovely husband and father I could have ever asked for. We are truly soul mates and I would say a power couple. Collin is a light in my life always keeping me on the positive side of thinking and a devoted husband. He has been through many challenging health times with me and stuck through it. Since we’ve had our son Hudson, Collin really has blossomed to become such an amazing father and truly a good man. Collin manages his family’s concrete business. He loves working with his parents and continuing the legacy. I’m so proud of him and so lucky to have him in my life.

About Kenzie (in Collins words)

Kenzie is the rock in our family; she’s strong, organized, compassionate, loving, fun and always finds new adventures to keep our life interesting. Through all of my wife’s health challenges, she remains strong and committed to battling Lyme disease. But through her illness, she has met and helped so many others struggling which is inspiring to me in so many ways. She amazes me every day with her strength and persistence in making sure that our family is taken care of. I also couldn’t ask for a better Mom for my son, she has a special place in his heart, and we are truly blessed to have her in our lives and she makes every day so much fun and gratifying.

About Hudson

Hudson is 8 months old and truly the sweetest and best baby we could have asked for. He is our Angel baby. I was unable to carry so we have Hudson through IVF and eventually had a surrogate carry our little man. Words cannot describe how much love he has brought into our lives. We always knew in our hearts that we wanted to adopt and now that he’s changed our lives in so many amazing ways, we know that we want to expand our family and share the love.
