Hi! We are Aaron and Jacquie.  Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little more about us! It is our greatest hope to expand our family and adopt a child. 

We own a house in a young family friendly community and are part of a large family on both sides- lots of uncles, aunts and cousins! We both actually met through our parents as they had all attended the same bible study group for many years before we ever even knew of one another. It was literally love at first sight for both of us and there has never been anyone else since. We have been together now for 12 amazing years and have been married for almost 10.  

We’ve travelled quite a bit over the years- It’s been a mutual passion of ours to adventure to different cultures, landscapes and take in new, awe inspiring views. While travelling, we’ve often entertained thoughts of one day taking our kids on all of our excursions and even day dreamed about what it would be like for them to be with us at that very moment.

The hope for expanding our family is  something that has been on our hearts for many years now. Our hearts for adoption even precede the beginning of our relationship! It’s our belief that we are called by God to take care of the widows and the orphans. As Christians, tuning our hearts and minds to be aligned with His purposes is something that motivates and inspires us both each and every day. We’re also so beyond blessed to have both been raised in Christian homes.

Aaron started his career as an LAPD officer back in 2012 he is now a detective. Prior to he studied hard to earn his nursing degree and also served in the Marine Corp for 6 years starting at the age of 18. He is and has always been the most reliable person in my life. He has never let our little family down and has always been such an amazing provider for us. He is a good, honorable, and God-fearing man and is the most loyal person I have ever known. He is humble, gentle, and kind. I’ve always known that he  would be an amazing father one day. Any child would be beyond blessed to call him dad. I am so incredibly proud of him and all he has accomplished in life and I know he would be an exemplary role model for our future child.

I, Jacquie, currently telecommute for a Mortgage  company, so I am working from home. I have a strong passion for health and fitness and being the best version of yourself you can possibly be. I LOVE food and I love to cook- healthy, of course. Experiencing new things and fully immersing myself in life’s adventures is truly a passion of mine. I grew up with two siblings. One of which was an older brother who very much had a strong hand in my lifelong love of video games. I am truly a nerd at heart- through and through. Even from my earliest memories I could always see myself being a mom. In a lot of ways, I’ve been a motherly figure to those around me and have always had a strong inclination to take care of people. I even had a large part in helping to raise my younger sister. There is no doubt in my mind that God has always been calling me to be a mother. Adopted or not- this is what He’s called me to do. Being a mother would truly give my life meaning and purpose. It’s everything God has shaped me for my entire life.   

Akio and Miwa, our dogs, have been such tremendous blessings in our lives! They bring us so much joy every single day! Akio, our Alaskan Klee Kai we got from a breeder back in 2011 a couple months after we got married. 

I cannot imagine married life with Aaron  without that dog. He’s been with us through thick and thin. He’s very much a little momma’s boy and has more personality than a good number of people I’ve met. 

Miwa, our little brindle Pomeranian was adopted almost 5 years ago now. She is truly a sweet heart and people pleaser. She makes it her personal goal to get you to love and pet her the second she meets you and will do literally anything to get your approval and affirmation.

They are both great with little kiddos. They have absolutely made our childless years a little bit easier to bear.

God has truly been so good to us and has blessed us more than I could have ever hoped for in this life and our hope is to one day extend that blessing to our future children. We truly have so much love to give and cannot wait to  finally be parents! Until that day comes, we both continue to pray that God’s will be done in this situation. I know that He has a plan for our lives and for yours as well!
