Hello Expectant Mom!   

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us, we are Elle and Esteban.  We want to let you know how much respect and awe we have for you making this decision and we know that no matter who we meet through this journey God has a plan for us that we are walking now.

 We met in the fall of 2012 through a mutual friend and grew our friendship over the next few months, we began dating that winter and have been inseparable ever since.  On our five-year anniversary, in December of 2017 we wanted to celebrate by getting married.  We had just recently bought our very first home together and knew we wanted to start a family so this impromptu anniversary celebration turned wedding was the perfect way to describe our relationship: sweet and simple.  

We have spent the last (almost) 8 years together traveling, hiking, cooking,  and visiting with our friends and family.  We love to spend time on DIY home projects, constantly planning the next “before and after” for our home.  During these hobbies we have a small shadow by our side named Otto, he is a six-year-old dachshund mix, and we aren’t kidding when we say he is always by our side.  Otto has been to the Grand Canyon, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming just to name a few road trips he enjoyed.  

Both our past began in San Diego county.  Esteban grew up in the same home in Southern San Diego while Elle grew up in North County San Diego and Temecula.  We now live in Lakeside, a small community about 25 minutes outside of Downtown San Diego.  Esteban has worked for San Diego  County for 14 years.  Elle has worked at a local credit union for 6 years and aspires to own her own floral business in the future.  Our home is the perfect size for our growing family with a large front yard on a quiet hill outside the suburbs.  Our current home project we are working on together is getting a nursery ready for when the time comes and renewing our front patio.  

A message from Esteban –  

Elle has always had an amazing personality and I am lucky to call her my wife.  She is smart, loving, works hard and always making me laugh with her witty sense of humor. Elle has a knack for making our home feel warm and inviting with her personal touch. When I see how she interacts with my nieces/nephews or our friends’ children, it melts my heart.  In her free time, she likes puzzles, baking, and making flower arrangements.  She has a kind soul and will make a great mother.

A message from Elle – 

When I think about what kind of life Esteban and I will have as parents I see him teaching our child (or children) how to cook, going on road trips, and spending every minute they can outside.  Esteban is the first to offer our family (even his in-laws!) help when they need it, I joke that he should start his own moving company when he retires from the county for the amount of people in our lives that he has helped move. 

Esteban is constantly trying to make me  laugh with his cheesy jokes and is quick to comfort me if I have a tough day.  When Esteban has time to himself, he enjoys taking Otto to the local lake for a daily walk, washing our cars, and planning our next adventure.  Esteban is the most caring and generous person I have ever met; I cannot wait to see him become a father.
